Some 1500km south of Tasmania and well on the way to Antartica this is one spot not many will get the chance to experience the landscape and the wildlife first hand. For those that have the opportunity, here's a great guide submitted by Phillip Danze. <a href="http://knol.google.com/k/phillip-danze/a-photographers-guide-to-macquarie/6hu1k99vy563/2#">Click here to view.</a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2719253224163277034.post-66955157932658181352008-11-16T23:27:00.000-08:002008-11-16T23:38:01.276-08:00Ben Lomond National Park, NE Tasmania<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVROSWPx3qmVmyoJOjZfX1dzV5oZDULkyFhkA0vBvE0coBA85XeBg2zvGqyjsXRIULq4AzUYcTXHTsKsFC8thTE2JHQx-z7v1gbfbwU3WggTFu-3OYaj47pvPXVWx_vDNGcjq5SD7xN3ST/s1600-h/29011239073192e04111b.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVROSWPx3qmVmyoJOjZfX1dzV5oZDULkyFhkA0vBvE0coBA85XeBg2zvGqyjsXRIULq4AzUYcTXHTsKsFC8thTE2JHQx-z7v1gbfbwU3WggTFu-3OYaj47pvPXVWx_vDNGcjq5SD7xN3ST/s400/29011239073192e04111b.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269527247130395954" border="0" /></a>Here's a great little guide by Darren Pearce for Ben Lomond National Park, near St Marys, in the North East of Tasmania. This park features a plateau some 14kms long and 6kms wide and the second highest peak in Tasmania, at 1572 meters high. Amazing views to be had in this neck of the woods. <a href="http://knol.google.com/k/darren-pearce/a-photographers-guide-to-ben-lomond/1x9q0bn3tdgq9/4#view">Click Here to view.<br /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2719253224163277034.post-22099169377335606062008-11-12T23:55:00.000-08:002008-11-13T00:01:26.979-08:00A guide to Mt Wellington Observatory, Hobart<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV_F4Cq9XyWHKjSCTTc3WroHLTqA9k5lzjXYWeAHLwlLMoL0aHcGl_tjpJ4doM_tE9eGvcGBp0x96aObvBIgF4aGfPpbXkl6GK9AXdtGyaXfbogKQlgMCSosjopzJG8XM7YNIGJ_GFvwx2/s1600-h/Untitled_Panorama1-copy.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 125px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV_F4Cq9XyWHKjSCTTc3WroHLTqA9k5lzjXYWeAHLwlLMoL0aHcGl_tjpJ4doM_tE9eGvcGBp0x96aObvBIgF4aGfPpbXkl6GK9AXdtGyaXfbogKQlgMCSosjopzJG8XM7YNIGJ_GFvwx2/s400/Untitled_Panorama1-copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268048914269070914" border="0" /></a><br />Greetings all, here's a quick guide to a sensational spot right on the doorstep of Hobart.
